The Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services Sector is seeking a dynamic leader for our Enterprise Program Operations Team. The successful candidate will lead program execution for the sector and manage the ES portfolio of non-recurring investments and report directly to the director of ITS Operations and Global Services. The portfolio consists of approximately 125 projects at any given time with an estimated value of $150M. Successful execution of ES programs will deliver sustaining value to all aspects of Northrop Grumman.
The Director will have broad oversight of this sector function to include but not limited to the following:
Directing and leading the ES Sector Strategy for program execution
Serve as the ES Sector Program Management process owner
Accountable for all aspects and phases of ES program performance
Develop and implement a staff augmentation for specialized skills and surge requirements
Represent ES on Corporate Program Management Council working group
Lead and develop an inclusive and diverse culture of accountability and predictability
Lead and develop a staff of approximately four (4) managers, six (6) program managers, and 60+ project managers that are geographically dispersed
Evaluate issues, risks, and opportunities elevated by the project managers and advise Program Review Authorities of recommendations and alternatives
Lead monthly Strategic Program Review program review with ES Sector President and Executive Leadership Team
Direct the overall strategy for the assessment of project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
Develop and mature mechanisms and metrics for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving
Determine and establish organizational structures and supervisory relationships

The successful candidate must be customer-focused with proven leadership and excellent communication skills as well as a leader in change management and relationship building.

Bachelor's degree and 10 years of professional experience
5 years Project Management experience
3 years of Program Management Experience
Experience with large organizational change
Experience working with all levels of management
Experience collaborating across functions.
Able to obtain and maintain DOD Top Secret level clearance
Top secret clearance
Experience leading large organizational changes
Previous experience managing other managers
Previous IT project experience
