Administrative Assistant/Office Manager

J. Forres Development is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support for our fast growing construction services company. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, highly organized, detail-oriented, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have experience and talent in the responsibilities and duties outlined below. This position will be based in our Stamford office.


  • Provide timely, efficient and accurate handling of daily business operations
  • Create and track proposals
  • Compile and create internal and client facing daily reporting & assist project managers with tasks related to client reporting
  • Be the available contact for employees in the field to assist with administrative tasks
  • Prepare client billing in Quickbooks
  • Create expense reports
  • Manage & submit insurance Wrap Up data
  • Assist with special projects as directed

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills; attention to detail, self-motivation and the ability to think proactively is essential
  • Construction experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) & Quickbooks
