MTM, Inc. continues to grow and we are seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial Systems & Payroll

The Senior Analyst, Financial Systems & Payroll is a member of the MTM Finance Team and will be responsible for compliant financial & payroll process oversight. This individual will be work directly with the Payroll Team and the Financial Systems leadership to design, configure, and implement effective and efficient Payroll processes within Workday HCM and Workday Financials.

This position is located at our office in Chesterfield, MO

Responsibilities:
Lead the administration of Workday Financials with a concentration in Payroll
Create and maintain efficient payroll system workflows and tasks
Own and design the payroll system requirements and business process changes
Responsible for ongoing system testing for all new functionality
Manage the day to day workflows and operation of the PRIS functions, with focus on audit and system integrity
Provide technical support and training to end user of the payroll systems
Identify process and infrastructure needs to support change and consider broad range of internal/external factors when making decisions
Lead new business implementation to ensure successful integration into payroll system
Ensure data flow into the payroll system is calculating accurately; Data flow from other Workday Functional areas include Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Absence
Partner with the Payroll Team on system and process improvements to streamline payroll operations
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of MTM Accounting/Finance business processes
Evaluate existing business processes and recommend solutions
Develop and maintain financial dashboards
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training, reviewing professional publications, and staying current on payroll system feature releases.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience with payroll
3+ years of experience with financial system software (ERPs) and/or payroll software
Experience with systems analysis or configuration
Experience in troubleshooting and analyzing technical issues
Experience with payroll systems, specifically with Workday, preferred
Experience with Unions preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Must possess the ability to assess potential problems and make sound judgments around issues that may have an adverse effect on the business
Must have a strong background in payroll operations and the ability to understand key accounting and financial issues
