The Divisional Marketing Coordinator will serve as the primary Marketing contact for the division(s) they are assigned to. Through participation in sales meetings, store meetings, manager meetings, ride-alongs, etc the coordinator will manage all marketing needs of the division(s) by leveraging the resources within the Marketing Department – Data, Creative, Digital – to execute the needs of the division(s).
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with divisional management to understand needs for marketing campaigns including identification of budget, target audience, target products, duration and offers and work with Marketing Manager to design campaign to utilize all relevant marketing tactics available
Generate division-specific content as needed for marketing communications including relevant content for email campaigns, social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram), on-hold messaging, websites, etc.
Maintain good understanding of current manufacturer campaigns and communicate those to the divisional management and sales staff
Manage all customer events from pre-event promotion to all event coordination to post-event tracking and inputting leads into CRM system
Manage all tradeshows including researching potential opportunities, pre-show promotion, show set-up and take-down, post-show tracking, and inputting leads into CRM system
Provide research for new tradeshows and association events, advertising opportunities with associations, industry websites, and data sources to assist with new customer identificcation
Determine needs for all promotional merchandise and coordinate with other Marketing Department resources and CAT licensed vendors to fulfill and deliver upon receipt
Work with Marketing Resources to develop in-store signage, promotional flyers and email marketing newsletters by understanding the products and services that the division(s) are interested in promoting and provide relevant content
Work with the Corporate Marketing Manager as needed when Public Relations opportunities are available to promote products, services, events etc.
Generate customer lists from multiple data sources for marketing campaigns, sales blitzes, prospecting etc. including DBS, CAIS, EDA, Saleslink, RentalMan, Hoovers, D.O.M., etc
Serve as the primary point of contact for the division(s) for assistance with sales presentations, photography, video
Assist store management and field reps with facility tours, on-site customer meetings, tradeshow and association participation
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field required.
Minimum of 2+ years experience in a marketing coordinator position.
Strong knowledge of marketing strategies, concepts and practices
Proficiency in business systems functions and personal computer use.
Strong project management and performance measurement skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to compile and analyze performance data to develop metrics that support decision-making for resource allocation and subsequent campaigns
Solid business acumen, management and problem-solving skills
