Our Managing Directors develop and oversee a portfolio of approximately 15-25 clients, ensuring client satisfaction, mentoring E|H team members, and contributing to our company’s overall growth. 60% or more of your time will be spent supporting clients in and around New York City, 20% will be spent developing new business and selling new work, and up to 20% may be dedicated to internal company initiatives and team development.
The role of an E|H Managing Director:
Develop new business: Usher clients through early phases of the consulting relationship, conducting meetings, establishing needs, defining the scope of our work, negotiating fees, identifying and assigning team members to the project, and facilitating project kick-off meetings.
Ensure client satisfaction: Conduct weekly check-ins with the E|H team members and regular on-site meetings with the client (a significant amount of travel around New York City is required). Assist E|H Consultants and Directors in resolving high-level compliance questions, conflicts or other particularly challenging client issues.
Foster internal growth: Develop E|H’s internal processes and tools, mentor and coach teammates, and continually pursue your own learning.
Contribute to our community: Advance E|H's reputation by growing industry partnerships; speaking at industry panels, seminars and events; writing and publishing thought leadership pieces; and creating marketing collateral to promote our services within our industry.

What you bring to E|H:
Inspiring, energetic and positive leadership style
10+ years as an HR executive, preferably in the hospitality industry
Experience leading HR teams of 5+
Experience in P&L management (you will manage a $1m+ project portfolio)
Demonstrated negotiation skills
Impeccable quality standards
Preference for operating autonomously in a startup environment
High level of comfort with technology, including GSuite & MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word)
