Entry-level degree in Physical Therapy (BS, MS, or DPT) and doctoral preparation (DPT, PhD, EdD, DSc, etc.).
Eligibility for Physical Therapy licensure in the State of Florida.
Minimum 5 years experience as a physical therapist and/or educator.
Minimum 2 years experience as a clinical instructor and/or CCCE.
APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor.
Contemporary expertise in specific assigned teaching area.
An area of scholarly interest.
For appointment as Associate Professor: minimum 5 years full-time appointed academic experience at Assistant Professor rank.
Three years of relevant academic experience as a Center Coordinator of Clinical Education or three years full-time academic experience as a Director or Assistant Director of Clinical Education in a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant education program accredited by CAPTE.
APTA Advanced Credentialed Clinical Instructor and CCIP trainer.
Established scholarly agenda with publication record.
Success in organization and implementation of interprofessional education.

T h e USF Health Sc ho o l o f P hy s i c a l T he r a py & Re h ab ili t at i o n S c i en c e s ( S P T& R S ) announces a search for a Director of Clinical Education at the Ass i s tan t / A ss o c ia t e /Professor level . This full-time, 12-month position will partner with the existing clinical education team (Co-Coordinator of Professional Education, 2 Assistant Coordinators of Clinical Education, and administrative staff) in leading our clinical education program as an integral component within the DPT professional curriculum. The School seeks c a nd i d a t es who w ill direct and shape the clinical education vision and represents this vision to constituent groups internal and external to the program and university. The Director of Clinical Education is charged with developing strong clinical partnerships that support the SPT&RS education mission including academic excellence, simulation, and interprofessional education. S/he is responsible for the professional development of the clinical education team and clinical educators. Opportunities exist to partner in post-professional residency and/or fellowship programs. In addition, the Director of Clinical Education will actively participate in professional activities that influence clinical education.
