The Scoop sales team leads the charge in bringing the Scoop Managed Carpool Program to new employers and communities across the country. The commute impacts employers in so many ways. Whether you’re a VP in Real Estate faced with the expense of building a parking garage, or an HR Executive struggling with employee turnover, the commute is a constant challenge. Rising congestion across American metros increases the urgency for employers to act.
From Fortune 50 companies to SMBs, every customer we bring on leads to better quality of life for commuters and a better employee experience. Our team brings that vision to life for employers, ultimately leading to real returns on their real estate and team investments.
In this role, you will:
Be a foundational member of a quickly growing sales organization
Prospect into Fortune 100 companies and other major employers through a combination of email, phone call, and other sales channels
Participate in on-site meetings with Scoop’s Strategic Account Executives
Work closely with the most experienced strategic sales executives to develop all of the critical skills to accelerate a successful career in Sales
Paint the Scoop vision and opportunity for prospects through a combination of ROI and qualitative value propositions
Have at least 18 months of experience as a sales/business development rep (preferably at a top technology or high growth company)
Be a creative prospector, both experienced with traditional tools (email, cold calling) and comfortable experimenting with new technologies and strategies
Be data-driven in measuring and improving the impact of your outreach efforts
Be an expert in running discovery calls with prospects and qualifying potential leads
Believe that there is always a path to success, even if you hear “no” a few times along the way
Are organized, attentive to detail, and believe that great process leads to great results
Have excellent communication skills - you are a great writer, well spoken, and charismatic
Are highly coachable and invested in your professional growth, development, and career path
Take a team-first mentality to being successful
Excel in fast-changing, high growth environments
