This position is focused on providing psychosocial services for clients that receive medication to combat addiction to opioids and may experience co-occurring disorders.

Candidate should be comfortable with very early hours (6:00 AM starting time).

Responsibilities and Duties

The specific duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:

(A) Provide screening, assessment, and counseling services for individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorder.

(B) Complete Screening, Assessment, Referral, and Follow-Up data reporting and forms.

(C) Assess potential client to determine ability using tools provided.

(D) Make referrals for clients that cannot get required services from the Company.

(E) As required, serve as a liaison between local probation/parole departments, Central Diagnostic Referral agencies and other outside referral sources.

(F) Establish linkage with a comprehensive community network of health and social service providers

(G) Maintain a working knowledge of the American Society of Addiction Medicine manual and the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM –IV TR)

(H) Complete intake process for clients within established time frame as indicated, including completion of all required critical documents, including clinical assessments, Master Treatment Plans, Treatment Plan updates and timely counseling notes

(I) Provide treatment satisfaction surveys at admission and determine accessibility and efficiency of services.

(J) Follow up with referrals of detox clients to assist in development of aftercare plan

(K) Understand and work within The Company’s Mission and Policies.

(L) Perform other duties as required and noted in this contractual document.

(M) Follow all confidentiality guidelines, including HIPAA.

(N) Flexibility with client scheduling, including early hours (6:00 AM starting time).

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must possess a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in the Behavioral Science (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Addiction Studies)
  • Must possess MCBAP appropriate license (CAADC, CADC-M, CADC) or have a registered Development Plan with MCBAP
  • Possess American Society of Addiction Medicine Training or receive training within one year of employment
  • Basic Computer skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, and Email
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Records systems preferred

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 /hour
