Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.
Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems is seeking a Market/Competitive Assessment Analyst to join our team in Dulles, VA for the following responsibilities:
**Top Secret/SCI is required for this position**
Develop market forecasts
Monitor and communicate industry trends
Design and conduct in-depth research on key competitors across the aerospace and defense industry and commercial space
Collect and assess benchmarks and related market data
Utilize publicly available data, primary research, and other creative and ethical approaches to develop competitive intelligence products
Develop strong partnerships with strategy and business development teams across the company for knowledge sharing and collaboration
Collaborate with various stakeholders and business functions to identify challenges and refine approaches
Effectively communicate insights and results to an executive audience
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
TS/SCI required
Bachelor's degree in related field with 6 years of relevant experience or master's degree with 4 years of relevant experience
Familiarity with publicly available market and competitive intelligence data sources
Top notch research and analysis skills, with past experience conducting in-depth analyses and assessments using both primary and secondary research
Strong oral and written communication
Ability to work with the utmost confidentiality when applicable
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on a team

Preferred Qualifications:
MBA/Master's degree from an accredited college or university in business, engineering, science, economics, mathematics, or philosophy
Direct experience in competitive intelligence, competitive assessment, and/or price-to-win, position-to-win
Strong business acumen, with ability to understand market dynamics and competitor win strategies and develop counter-strategies
Active DOD Secret clearance
