The starting hiring amount is $14.40/Hour for this position.
This intern will support bike/pedestrian projects including street and traffic surveys, graphic visualizations, special community events, data analysis and a bike rack giveaway program for businesses.
An Intern provides administrative, clerical, communications, and onsite assistance for planning and engineering divisions to the director and/or staff. Primarily and most frequently the work is performed under direct supervision, within one functional area, and of a routine nature.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provides assistance on special projects as directed;
- Provides educational opportunity in field of interest with the use of hands on experience;
- Assistance with technical and administrative functions in NDS;
- Research assistance;
- Performs related tasks as required.
Education, Experience and Skills:
-High School Diploma or GED is required.
-Some work or educational experience in relevant field.
-Basic administrative, office, and computer skills, including familiarity with Windows based applications preferred.
Oral and written communication abilities; Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
