Working in the Lakeway One building, this opportunity will administer our System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) environment and will be responsible for the daily operations including deployment of security updates and system health. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist.
Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Responsible for the development, implementation, and support of various data file interfaces, data-feeds, and application software systems installed at IBERIABANK. Assist with design, analysis, and implementation of Client Server / AS/400 and Web based Interface and reporting systems. Ensure that Application Software systems, data-feeds, and interfaces are operating efficiently, monitoring and tuning as necessary. Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve problems, outages and system issues. Support the annual core software upgrades, provide input to the job streams and be proficient in CL. Support parameter changes, file-maintenance, mass-maintenance, file purges and Disaster Recovery / Contingency Planning activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Achieve a highly effective working knowledge of the bank’s software application environment.
Develop detailed project plans.
Develop data mapping requirements for application extracts, data conversions and client requests.
Develop system specifications and technical requirements to serve as a guide for system/program development.
Analyze, develop and implement solutions for application processes.
Create test scripts and document test results.
Code, test, debug and document program enhancements.
Ability to identify root causes and corrective actions to meet short and long term business objectives.
Ability to support the applications’ user(s) by answering application related questions, resolving application issues and identifying process improvements.
Ensure internal and external customers are receiving quality service and support.
Maintain bank and software standards to preserve application integrity.
Create or update system documentation as part of every project.
Complete assigned projects on schedule and in a thorough / comprehensive manner. Thoroughly research and accurately report all project details.
Make sound project conclusions and recommendations and present them in a clear and concise manner.
Ensure that contracted vendors under your supervision are performing quality work which meets bank standards.
Produce and/or rely on monitoring reports that reflect a highly effective and quality-oriented operation.
Adhere to strict compliance with bank policies and procedures.
Help establish a proactive management approach to quality as compared to a reactive approach.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position: Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Bachelor degree in Computer Science preferred but not required. Programming skills education and training equal to 10-20 years of experience combined with education. Possess experience using tools available for developing and maintaining systems on an IBM iSeries platform. Must have good communication and presentation skills working with the bank’s user base and management. Must be self- motivated with a genuine interest in continually expanding knowledge and skill set relating to hardware and software systems and the I.T. industry as a whole.
