You Are a Quality Assurance Analyst
As a QA Analyst at Rosetta Stone, you are a key member of a scrum team working to ensure product quality, automation stability, and continuous process improvement. You are familiar with various bug tracking and test case management systems and are open and willing to learn and adopt new testing tools.
You are comfortable working in an Agile environment with close collaboration between cross-functional teams that may be globally distributed.
You strive for high quality releases, and contribute to our engineering excellence.
Creating and executing test cases for assigned features
Communicating issues, risks and test status in a timely and detailed manner
Ability to determine root cause of issues
Effectively collaborate within the QA team and with other teams on the project
Build and maintain automated tests that enable rapid regression testing
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure quality releases
Contributing to a culture of innovation and quality across the engineering organization
Desired Skills and Experience:
3 or more years of QA experience in web application testing
Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems and QA challenges
Experience using Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Stash etc.)
Adeptness in dealing with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment
Great communication skills and experience working as part of a distributed team
Experience working with offshore QA teams
Degree from an accredited University or equivalent work experience
