Commercial Product Photographer (Entry-Level)
Super Bright LEDs is seeking a talented and enthusiastic entry-level Commercial Product Photographer to join our dynamic team. As a Commercial Product Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing and editing high-quality images of our LED lighting products for use in marketing materials, e-commerce platforms, and other promotional content. Some evening shoots are required at both in-house and at off-site locations with some outdoor photo shoots as well. The schedule will be flexible to accommodate these shoots. We have fully equipped studios with professional photographers in place. This role is ideal for a recent graduate, or an aspiring photographer looking to build their portfolio and gain valuable experience in a professional setting. Local graduates and students studying and residing in the Saint Louis area are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Photograph LED lighting products in a studio setting, ensuring accurate color representation and product details.
- Set up lighting, backgrounds, and props to create appealing and effective product images.
- Edit and retouch photos using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) to meet company standards.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to understand project requirements and deliver images that align with brand guidelines.
- Maintain an organized digital library of all product images.
- Assist with the development of creative concepts for product photography.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in photography, visual arts, or a related field preferred; relevant experience considered.
- Proficiency in using digital cameras and studio lighting equipment.
- Basic knowledge of photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for composition, color, and lighting.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to take direction.
- Portfolio demonstrating photography skills, particularly in product photography, is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings as needed.
- Willingness to stay updated with new photography trends and technologies.
