The Azure Cloud Systems Administrator (CSA) designs, develops and implements information systems and operations systems in support of network, communications and core business functions in Microsoft Azure Gov (MAG) Cloud. The candidate will evaluate end user needs, client goals, budgets and existing applications to define system requirements and technical standards. In addition, they will be responsible for beta testing pre-release systems. Significant ingenuity, flexibility, self-motivation and is expected.

Key responsibilities:
Oversees the day-to-day operation of cloud networks including hardware/software support, training, and special projects.
Automate repetitive tasks, following a DevOps model
Assists in maintaining end user documentation for hardware/software applications, support logs and other related information; researches and recommends project related network and server hardware and software
Monitors event logs to ensure security of data and access privileges; installs, supports and maintains both physical and virtual network servers and appliances
Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots network storage; establishes and maintains user accounts, profiles, access privileges and security in MAG
Researches, analyzes, monitors, troubleshoots and resolves workstation, server or data network problems
Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with equipment and software
Own assigned trouble case, managing and keeping up with all cases assigned, following up and resolving cases in accordance with SLAs.
Install/troubleshoot application software (RHEL, Ubuntu, Windows OS etc.), user account management (Active Directory), and installation/support of other third-party software. Local user management in a RHEL LAMP Stack Isolated Environments.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree – Business, Engineering, IT or related scientific / technical discipline
5 years of relevant experience
Degree may be replaced with 7 years of relevant experience
Strong experience in the design and maintenance of multiple environments (PROD, IMPL, TEST, DEV), business documentation, and reports.
Must be well versed in effective management, operations, and maintenance of systems deployed in MAG.
Candidates that do not meet the minimum qualifications will not be considered.

Microsoft Cloud Architect Certification (MCSA Cloud) Certification
AWS Cloud Architect – Associate or Professional Certification
Microsoft Azure Certifications
Key Cloud team member, whose focus on ensuring the job is done right and on time enables the team to always reach its goals.
Good verbal and written communication skills and can work alone with minimal direction
