Job Title: Customer Service Representative – Tax Compliance
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM - 5:15 PM
Position Type: Contract/Temp-to-Perm (if desired)
Work Arrangement: Remote (Must report to the office on the first day for orientation)
Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team, specializing in Individual and Business-related tax compliance. This role involves handling all inbound telephone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to doing the right thing and serving others with a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Resolve Tier 1 level issues efficiently.
Review and manage taxpayer accounts.
Verify, gather, and update key information simultaneously.
Educate taxpayers about online resources and current tax policies.
Submit requests for payment arrangements.
Participate in all team engagement activities.
Meet performance expectations.
Required Skills:
Strong multitasking abilities.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Great interpersonal skills.
Ability to retain knowledge easily.

Goal-oriented and organized.
Preferred Skills:
Required Experience:
At least one consecutive year in each of the last two positions, working in a fast-paced call center.
Experience in national call centers within industries such as finance/banking, insurance, or telecommunications (excluding technical support).
