We are looking for PRN Physical Therapists in the South Charlotte area who are experienced, qualified, and passionate to provide personalized care to our patients directly in a Private Continuing Care retirement Community located in South Charlotte called Southminster. We need individuals who have a flexible schedue who may be able to help with coverage when needed, with overflow patients, when therapists call off, or go on vacation.

(This is NOT a skilled nursing facility.) This setting gives you all the variety you would need, with a mix of patients in independent & assisted living as well as bedside in a healthcare/inpatient settings.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced, reliable, independent clinician with good communication skills who can provide high quality personalized treatments in a one-on-one setting.
Responsibilities
- Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
- Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
- Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
- Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
- Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
- Consult and practice with other health professionals
- Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
- Document patient care services
- Management of PTAs
Skills
- Proven work experience as a physical therapist
- High level of autonomy and independence
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
- Drive to continually learn and grow
- Professional behavior
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Valid license to practice physical therapy
- Good documentation abilities and completion time
