Busy Westlake CPA firm is looking for a temporary Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant for tax season.
Approximately 10-30 hours/week January through mid April.
Hours will range Monday through Friday between 8:00am-6:30pm. Every other Saturday starting in February 8am-12pm. Exact hours to be determined but flexibility is important as we may need more or less of your time depending on the workflow week to week.
We are looking for an individual with demonstrated bookkeeping and front office experience and excellent people skills as you will bill dealing with many clients on a daily basis.
You MUST be detail oriented and work efficiently as there are many moving parts at any given time.
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop is required and you must have a general knowledge of accounting. Job duties will include but are not limited to preparing 1099’s, W-2’s, data input into QuickBooks, bank reconciliations and filing information on the Ohio Business Gateway.
Administrative responsibilities to include data entry, waiting on clients at front counter, basic review of tax documents, accepting payments, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, logging and routing of tax returns, office organization of files, supplies, etc., and assisting with all front office tasks as needed/required.
