About the Role
As our HR Generalist, you’ll manage key HR functions that help us build an incredible workplace. Your responsibilities will include everything from hiring and interviewing to administering pay and benefits, ensuring we create a supportive and compliant environment that fosters positivity and high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure our team stays compliant with mandatory and optional training—safety training, anti-harassment training, you name it!
- Get involved in the recruitment process, sourcing and screening candidates who fit our culture and values.
- Welcome new hires with engaging orientation and recognize employee achievements to keep morale high.
- Support HR programs related to compensation, benefits, leave, and everything in between!
- Be the go-to for employee inquiries, providing guidance and support, and referring complex issues to the appropriate HR leader.
- Help facilitate employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, ensuring everything is documented properly.
- Stay on top of federal, state, and local employment laws, updating policies and practices as needed.
- Keep your finger on the pulse of HR trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Develop and implement initiatives that boost employee engagement and retention.
- Contribute to diversity and inclusion programs that promote a welcoming workplace for all.
- Support performance appraisal processes to encourage employee development.
- Help manage HR technology systems for data integrity and efficiency.
- Participate in internal audits to ensure we’re compliant with laws and regulations.
- And, of course, perform other duties as assigned to support our fabulous HR team!

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in human resources management is preferred.
- Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is advantageous.
