For our North American Sales organization we are seeking an exceptional, product-minded Director Sales & Marketing to grow and manage strategic partnerships with leading technology companies in the Point of Sale, Property Management, Payments, Gateway and FinTech space. The role will be responsible for defining and executing a strategic partner strategy across a number of partners and companies to achieve user and revenue growth.

The Director Sales & Marketing has the primary role of leading the sales department, overseeing activities of the junior and senior professionals and monitoring performance as a whole. The role defines and communicates the business’s KPIs and targets to sales personnel on a regular basis, analyses patterns in customer and market behavior, and subsequently defines data-driven action strategies in order to consistently optimize the business’s commercial performance. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

The Touchpeak products are sold through a network of Alliances, external Business Partners and Indirect Sales Channels. You will be joining our Team based in Atlanta and your responsibilities include:

identification of business opportunities with partners; lead all aspects of deal execution, including prioritization of partners, strategic and financial assessment, transaction structuring, negotiation and implementation
determine annual profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the region, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
establish and grow strong relationships with senior executives across different business units within our partners’ organizations
support our Distribution Channels in their sales activities
collaborate across functions with teams internally to define priorities, plan joint roadmaps with partners and help solve critical issues across the organization
work on a variety of initiatives with partners including, but not limited to, product partnerships, distribution and commercial partnerships
conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs, plus gather requirements for further Product Development
maintain national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
What we are looking for is ...

proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director
ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
proven ability to position products against competitors
ability to partner with our product organization to build features for existing and new partnerships, plus gather product requirements
strong commercial orientation, with the ability to initiate, execute, and grow complex commercial partnerships while maximizing economic value
proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Pipedrive)
market knowledge, specifically in Payments, Payment Systems & Point of Sale, Hospitality, Retail & Retail Operations
excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills, excellent verbal and written communications skills
ability to operate with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
