Overview
Macke & Company, CPAs is located in Metairie, Louisiana specializing in providing business advisory services to small businesses. In conjunction with these services, we provide compliance work through tax and bookkeeping services. We are seeking a Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation and accounting principles , with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Duties
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information for tax purposes
- Manage the tax preparation workflow process from client intake to final delivery
- Bookkeeping services for some annual and monthly clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- CPA or EA certification preferred
- Candidates working on CPA or EA certification also preferred
- Experience in income tax return preparation highly preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and Desktop
- Experience in tax software Lacerte preferred but not required

- Salary commensurate with experience
