Design, create, evaluate, recommend, and implement new and existing employee benefits programs for GUESS?, Inc. Ensure that the programs support the company's strategic initiatives, goals, and direction and are market competitive. Responsible for the daily oversight of health and welfare, incentive, retirement, analysis, and employee stock program system administration. Ensure HRIS data integrity with system interfaces and direct benefits compliance with policies and applicable laws. Provide leadership, vision, and project management related to the design, development, implementation, and improvements to the overall benefits programs and maintain business partnerships with departments to maximize efficiencies within the company's established business structure and areas of responsibility.
Develop strategies by designing benefits programs in order to support Human Resources and Company goals that demonstrates market competitiveness and fiscal accountability. Set the strategic direction of the benefits department to align with global goals. Create a global benefits vision to ensure a competitive employee total remuneration package. Design new, cost-effective benefits for employees by looking for economies of scale. Develop innovative automation processes and procedures to reduce costs and promote efficiencies.
Analyze and research actuarial data and internal and external health and benefit trends and expenses. Negotiate and provide effective communication of company objectives and maintain business relationships with external business partners and vendors to ensure that any issues are addressed in a timely manner. Provide trend data, establish and make recommendations and proposals to the benefit and compensation budget and monitor expenses. Develop cost savings measures to ensure budgetary compliance. Serve as a member of the Human Resources Management and Leadership Team.
Train and advise management on the performance management system and job descriptions application. Coach management on associate performance plans and goal-setting objective plans. Meet with management to discuss associate issues and recommend actions to improve or modify the circumstances. Provide managers with benchmarking data, forecasts and market evaluations as needed. Educate and orient new associates to the benefit programs.
Track and research current benefit trends and legislative changes. Ensure that current benefit programs are modified to comply with new legislative mandates. Advise and educate managers, executives and Human Resources (HR) Team members of legislative updates.
Responsible for the communication of annual reviews, daily direction, development and education of the associates within the Benefits department.
