We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our established family-owned furniture store! You will assist customers' needs and offer solutions to furnish their spaces or homes.
Responsibilities:
- Present and sell furniture and services to new and existing customers
- Prospect and contact potential customers
- Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
- Resolve customer inquiries and needs
- Set follow-up appointments or home visits, as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields preferred
- Friendly, approachable personality
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Desire to help customers select the perfect pieces for their space's needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized, motivated individual
This is a Full Time position and Saturdays are required. No early mornings or late nights, as we are open 10a-6p, and we are closed on Sunday, so you'll always have Sunday off as well as another day during the week. This job requires a dependable person with strong customer service skills. Sales experience is helpful but not required for the right person. The most important things needed are good communication skills, organization and a desire to learn.
