This position is accountable for managing the community center for collaboration and innovation. The position serves as the main point of contact for the Impact Alamance conference facility. Responsible for scheduling conference space, meeting/greeting and directing guests and assisting with catering and AV equipment. In addition, the position will manage building maintenance requests in coordination with the Impact Alamance team. Will also handle other clerical and operational duties as assigned.

Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred

Required: 3-5 years in a professional business environment and/or educational setting. Experience in event planning and/or coordination.

Preferred: 5+ years of experience, preferably with a nonprofit and/or foundation. Knowledge of Alamance County non-profits and agencies preferred.

Manages all logistics for the Impact Alamance conference facility, including, but not limited to, serving as the main point of contact for community partners; booking conference space; ordering and managing supplies for the facility in including catering kitchen, restroom and conference room supplies; speaker scheduling and communication, catering, program materials and resources. 20 %

Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills both to internal and external customers, individually and as part of the Impact Alamance Team, by phone, electronically and in person. Adheres to Cone Health email and other communication standards during written and verbal communications. 20 %

Provides on-site support during events which may include, but is not limited to: room, AV and catering set up, material delivery and set-up, participant check-in, AV speaker and customer support throughout the events. Also includes clean-up of the facility post event and ensuring readiness for daily use. 20 %

Serves as the main point of contact for building maintenance needs and requests. Coordinates with supervisor and Impact Alamance team to ensure repair requests are submitted and handled in a timely manner. 10 %

Performs other duties and assumes responsibilities as assigned by supervisor, President of Impact Alamance and other building tenants. 10 %

Provides general and clerical support for the impact Alamance team and manages mail for the entire building 20 %
