The Customer Capability Analyst position will be key to the success of the Walmart Supply Chain team by providing the analytics and project management support to drive continuous improvement in service (on time and in full metrics), cost, and forecasting metrics. The metrics apply to both KHC and Walmart. The position will provide the right candidate customer supply chain experience supporting KHC’s largest customer along with gaining experience working across KHC’s supply chain functions (warehousing, transportation, demand planning, supply, and customer service) and Sales. The position is a customer facing position, so CCA will be working directly with key contacts from Walmart’s Supply Chain organization.
Continuous Improvement across the Walmart Supply Chain Teams
Analytics and technical support to leverage the latest technologies (Excel, Excel VBA, Access, Retail Link, SAP, Tableau, Alteryx, and Network Automation) to develop solutions to streamline work across the organization
Work alongside the Customer Supply Chain Manager to develop routines/rituals, reports, tools, etc. to maximize Supply Chain KPI’s that include (fill rates, in stocks, cost reduction, forecast accuracy improvement, RDD, OTIF, inbound quality, etc.)
Support best practices and accountability across the customer and sales teams that will include daily, weekly and monthly direct connectivity w/ KHC’s supply chain performance and execution team
Train & Manage smaller customers in a CPFR environment, to include:
Work alongside the Walmart Customer Supply Chain Manager leveraging his/her knowledge and experience to support/lead initiatives for the team
Drive discipline driving actions by identifying, documenting, and communicating the actions while also seeking closure on said actions with project team members
Leverage analytic and technical skills to drive insights for driving improvement
Develop PowerPoints that “tell the story” to stakeholders in order to gain support on driving improvement
“Go to” person for data, analytics, and ad hoc reporting
Key in providing technical training to team members
Develop, track, and report on key KPI’s to summarize and communicate Supply Chain opportunities
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or related field
Minimum of 3 years related experience in areas such as Production, Logistics, Inventory Management, or Supply/Operations Planning
Requires demonstrated understanding of the end to end Supply Chain
Process Management/Improvement mindset required
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point)
Retail Link Experience Preferred
Strong work ethic
Ability to learn on the fly
Strong communication (oral, written, presentation)
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
Desire to be technical using analytic tools
Customer and Sales focused: You take pride in maintaining positive relationships and believe managing expectations leads to better results
