Jacobs is currently seeking a Project Intergrator to join their team at their customer site in the Herndon, VA area.

Job Description :
The Project Integrator will support the Sponsor’s organization responsible for budgeting, governance, program oversight, acquisitions and processes for the developing secure and reliable network solutions. This includes providing a total systems perspective, including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of components, end-to-end project management support of the life cycle. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Assisting with meeting preparation and facilitation of the Network Provisioning Process boards.
Providing support to the Program Manager responsible for the IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.
Assisting with the support for existing provisioning process tools and leveraging experience to recommend a streamlined and efficient replacement for the existing suite of tools.
Planning and coordinating program management process activities and leveraging experience to recommend streamlined and efficient business processes, to include developing standard operating procedures and associated documentation
Establishing parameters for collecting, analyzing and displaying metrics
Seeking information from personnel within the supported principal’s organizations to provide background information the principal will require for meetings and other engagements. Follow-up to ensure material is ready for review in advance of meeting.
Formatting, proofreading, and editing correspondence and other documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammar and conformance with the Sponsor’ guidance. Route correspondence and track status through completion.
Plan and coordinate program management process activities such as Program Reviews and control gate reviews including scheduling of meetings and preparation of briefings/presentations.
Maintain correspondence suspense files, records, files for reports, operating procedures, internal memorandums, and composes correspondence.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Poly Required
Education and Experience: Requires two (2) years of college with courses in business administration, industrial management, or appropriate discipline, and five (5) years progressive experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Advanced oral and written communication skills are required along with comprehensive knowledge of company policies and procedures, and work flow processes.
Demonstrated on-the-job experience identifying strengths and weaknesses and providing solutions to problems
Demonstrated on-the-job experience exhibiting oral and written communications skills to include creating briefing/presentations, planning and facilitating meetings and providing support for technical documentation
Self-starter and ability to manage multiple projects and/or activities
Flexible; able to shift priorities quickly
Working knowledge of mission priorities to proactively manage and deconflict actions
Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Suite or applications and other tools in order to format and adapt submitted correspondence
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
Critical thinking skills sufficient to make sound and timely recommendations and/or decisions in unique situations, considering alternate actions
Analytical skills sufficient to analyze complicated and/or sensitive information to address moderately complex systems-related issues
Organizational, collaboration, negotiation and interpersonal skills to effectively complete task
Experience with Enterprise Workflow systems – desired, not required
Essential Functions

Work Environment
General Office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers.

Physical Requirements
Most work will be done at a desk or computer.

Equipment and Machines
General office equipment including PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment.

Attendance
Attendance is critical at all times. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.
