Description
Carry out experiments on instruments and reagent systems that are produced by Beckman Coulter in order to evaluate the accuracy and quality of test results obtained.
Designs experimental studies on applications of new, revised, or reformulated reagents and disposables for Beckman Coulter instrumentation.
Perform general laboratory statistics and record keeping on all work performed in the lab as well as maintaining instruments and other lab equipment.
Write and check Technical documentation.
Maintains the laboratory in good order and in compliance with OSHA and Beckman Coulter policies and SOP’s.
Responds to inquiries from filed service and applications specialists, as well as customers on clinical chemistry relating to AU systems.
Provides new technical support documentation for new products supporting technical applications.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry or other industry related field, and no less than 9 years of experience, OR Master's Degree in field, with no less than 7 years of experience, OR Doctoral degree in field, with no less than 4 years of experience.
Recent experience in Clinical Chemistry, preferable with automated chemistry analyzers. Preference will be given to candidates who have recent experience with Beckman Coulter product or instruments.
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Must possess a solid understanding of written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
Must have the ability to give your full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Must have the ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (e..g, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and equally possess the ability to present information to leadership and leadership teams.
