The Service Design Tools and Infrastructure team is part of Motorola Solutions Central Managed Support Operations group and is responsible for maintaining the tools and infrastructure used to facilitate our central managed services and support offerings including federal, state, and local government public safety and global enterprise customers.

Job Description

Service Design Architect responsible for working with the Service Offer team, Product Developers, Application SME's, and other Service Design Architects in the development and/or improvement of Service Offers.
Interview stakeholders and create technical and business requirements for Service Offers.
Perform cross organizational project estimations with project managers.
Use availability, capacity, and cyber security management ITIL best practices in the development and review of system designs.
Act as project early life support during role out and level 3 operational support during issue escalations
Aggressive problem solving skills and the ability to get things done in a multi-organizational environment.
Strong technical capability including Windows, Linux, and basic networking principles.
Demonstrated ability to automate using at least one programming language including VBScript, Shell, Perl, Python, etc.
Effective communications including public speaking and interpersonal skills.
MSI Product experience plus.
Industry accepted professional certifications a plus. Including CompTIA Security+, CISSP, MCSE, RHCE, etc.

Basic Requirements

Minimum 5 years practical experience
Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract.
