The marketing manager’s primary responsibilities are the execution and success of our clients’ digital marketing programs.

The marketing manager is a high-performing self-starter with superior project management and lead-generation skills.

Keys: project management, inbound marketing, interpersonal skills, multitasking, exceptional eye for details.

Responsibilities include:

  • Day-to-day management and oversight of our clients’ digital marketing programs
  • Using HubSpot, WordPress and other tools to execute marketing programs
  • Primary day-to-day interaction with clients
  • Analyzing marketing data and making strategic recommendations accordingly
  • Ensuring that managed projects/campaigns meet client expectations and our timeline and budget
  • In other words, get projects done with awesome results (1), on time (2) and within budget (3)
  • Thorough understanding of the Statement of Work (SOW) for each client
  • Writing blog posts, lead-generation offers (eBooks, white papers, etc.), magazine articles and other marketing materials as needed

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Copy editing for blog posts, lead-generation offers and other marketing materials
  • Maintenance of clients’ keyword portfolios
  • Staying current with content marketing and inbound marketing strategies, tactics and trends
  • Working with developers and designers to create sitemaps and wireframes for website redesigns
  • Overseeing the marketing coordinator’s work with social media, content promotion, lead nurturing and backlink development

requirements

  • Excellent organizational, project management, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in creating and managing content across a variety of platforms (magazines, websites, social media, etc.), and in generating leads for clients using digital platforms
  • Strong working knowledge of content marketing and inbound marketing, SEO best practices and digital marketing
  • HubSpot and Inbound certifications
  • Solid interpersonal/communication skills (writing, verbal and presentation)
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and HTML
  • AP Style familiarity

Not required but strongly preferred: Experience with healthcare marketing
