Responsible for providing comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning using the nutrition care process & physical examinations for inpatients.. Assess & counsel outpatients for various diagnosis including but not limited to diabetes and weight management. Designs, Implements, evaluates and refines community based nutrition programs. Stays current with evidence based strategies around community nutrition. Works in conjunction with leadership, Parkview Health Dietitians and community well-being team members. Works collaboratively to identify greatest need and community groups to make maximum impact.
Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics with or AND (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics) accepted equivalence; completed internship approved by the AND.
Must be registry eligible, complete national registration status and meet state licensing or certification as applicable within 6 months of hire date.
Experience in healthcare.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be available to work weekends, holidays and conduct evening public speaking programs. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Ability to perform the physical demands of frequent standing, walking, stooping and bending.
