The Enterprise Output Management Services team is a team of developers that works on projects that need to generate customer communicates such as contracts, financial statements, bills, letters, and checks just to name a few. The team supports our strategic document generation and output management tools (xPression and Emtex) as well as several Legacy tools (Documerge, Compuset, Transformer, etc.) The ideal candidate will have a strong background in output management within the customer communication industry with a focus on innovative legacy conversion strategies.
Developer/Production Support Role
Monitor and address production incidents
Capable of handling broad scope projects that have short to medium-term focus
Works with guidance on more complex projects
Looks for and finds ways to improve operations
Coordination of code and data migration tasks
Operates independently on multiple project tasks:
Shows initiative, is organized, and has a positive work ethic
Provide technical info on job data and layout back to project teams
Non-functional requirements for application specific components
Responsible for driving designs to ensure they align with architectural roadmap and can be adhered to with-in project schedule and budget.
Participate in Peer Reviews of designs and code
Documenting technical workflows and integrating new work within overall technology roadmap.
Makes sure the individual designs integrate and create a working overall design; identifies gaps, problems and dependencies between individual designs/systems
5+ years of Development experience
Experience or working knowledge of:
BlueCrest/Pitney Bowes Emtex Suite of Products
Experience setting up jobs on Emtex Output Manager (formerly, P/I™ Output Manager), Enterprise Manager (formerly, P/I™ Enterprise Manager), and script development via Emtex Output Enhancement (formerly, P/I™ Output Enhancement)
Experience working with files received via Emtex JESConnect, WatchDT, Opsdt
Knowledge of high speed production printers Canon-OCE and Xerox (continuous feed, cut-sheet, and color)
Experience with Scripting languages like vb script, batch, etc
Have a strong overall knowledge of various PDL print formats including (AFP, PDF, PS, PCL, Xerox LCDS/Metacode etc...)
Knowledge of different Operating systems (z/OS Mainframe, Windows, Linux, and Unix)
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
