This position will be filled at one of the following levels depending upon qualifications:

Business Process Consultant (Salary $30.65 to $39.74 per hour)
Business Process Consultant Senior (Salary $32.47 to $42.10 per hour)
This position reports directly to Anna Bryan-Borja, Austin Water’s Chief Support Services Officer, and will be responsible for executing projects related to strategic business planning, continuous improvement, business process documentation, and performance management.

A valid Texas Class C Driver’s License is preferred.
Effective October 1, 2014, all Austin Water worksite locations are tobacco-free. Use of tobacco products and/or e-cigarettes is not permitted on any AW worksite – including construction sites, parking lot, garage or in any personal vehicle located on the premises.

Preferred Qualifications
At least three years of experience in a similar business process role where the purpose and core function of the position was to perform the competencies described in this posting.
Experience in process improvement efforts, benchmarking to industry standards, and strategic business planning
Demonstrated experience in project managing, organizing, and facilitating cross-functional groups with participants from all levels of the organization including executives
Experience in qualitative and quantitative data analysis including experience analyzing data, identifying trends and recommending process improvements based on your analysis
Experience evaluating performance measures to be sure that critical work process are operating effectively and recommending and implementing process changes
Intermediate skill level in Excel (to include pivot tables and associated graphic depiction of data), Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Experience with Cognos or similar business intelligence software
Experience with using SharePoint as a tool to communicate information and documents to cross-functional groups. Ability to add and edit content.
Experience using Visio or other flowchart or value-streaming mapping software
Business Writing skills
Valid Class C Texas Driver’s License
