We want to fill an accounts receivable position that processes rents, invoices, and payments for multiple properties. We are seeking somebody with real-world experience (skill with the Yardi or similar property management software is at the top of our wish list) and a positive and professional approach to work.
Arteco Management leases and manages (mostly historic downtown) properties in seven Inland Empire cities. Our buildings are often mixed-use (loft housing over commercial). They are themed around the creative arts – – boutique retail, artist studios, offices, restaurants, entertainment venues, etc., and some traditional apartments.
Accounts Receivable Clerk
Accounts Receivable Clerk Job Duties:
Receive rent, deposits, and utility payments
Post payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
Check bank transfers daily.
Post and collect utilities (generate invoices).
Ensure tenants pay the correct amount.
Monitor rent increases.
Track percentage rents.
Maintain records of invoices, debits, and credits.
Track and generate CAM charges and CPI increases.
Generate delinquency reports (unpaid invoices).
Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, and credits; coordinate one contact with the collections department.
Summarize receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfers to receivable accounts; verifying totals; preparing reports.
Keeping information confidential.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Accounts Receivable Clerk Skills and Qualifications:
Skills with Yardi (property management software) are highly valued. Experience with similar systems, such as Sage, is acceptable
