SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to correlate clinical data with patient’s medical and nursing cares.
- Ability to set priorities
- Ability to provide direction to others that is clear, concise and promotes efficiency.
- Ability to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, etc.
- Job Knowledge:
- EMR Charting
- Provides patient/family psychological/emotional support as needed for anxiety
- Recognizes emergency situations, responds quickly and efficiently following policy and procedures, ACLS protocols and/or physicians orders to prevent adverse patient outcomes.
- Provides care to post-surgical patients in the PACU according to policy and procedure and care standards
