Full Job Description

The Oracle Application Express (APEX) developer will work in a team and individually to help migrate legacy applications to Oracle APEX as well as build new applications as business requirements are defined. As an Oracle APEX developer, you will need to be knowledgeable in both the front-end and back-end components.

Hands on experience with PLSQL script
Document system builds and application configurations
Maintain and update documentation as needed
Conform to SQL and PLSQL coding standards and best practices
Assist in database design and application development analysis
Extract data from different data resources, FLAT files, and databases
Analyze functional business applications and transform them into detailed system design documents
Maintain and manage existing Oracle Apex platform
Prepare detailed specifications from which applications will be written

Design, code, test, debug, and documents those applications
Data modeling (Relational, Dimensional)
User Interface Design and Responsive Design
JavaScript, HTML, XML and CSS
Web applications, web servers and web security
Continuous integration and unit testing
Application Express (APEX) development Experience Requirements:

Oracle Application Express (APEX) version 19+ or greater
Oracle Development - PL/SQL Development / Performance Tuning (3+ years)
Web Development - JavaScript (2+ years) / HTML / CSS / XSLT / XML
Oracle APEX workspace admin, page and web services development
Web Services Development using ORDS and Oracle APEX Performs system analysis and system development tasks.

Act as a backup for other IT department personnel in cross-trained functions as required.

Job Type: Full-time
