About the Role:
Ten Gun Design is looking for a Website Quality Assurance Specialist local to Washington State who will test marketing website pages for a major, industry-leading gaming brand in Redmond, WA. The Website QA Specialist is responsible for testing, documenting, and support of HTML/CSS/JavaScript based web interfaces. This position will review all web pages and content updates and give final approval for publishing to the web. The QA tester will additionally assist web developers with site maintenance and processing of site health reports.
The web QA position requires human interaction with web pages: We do not use automated testing tools for black box testing.
The Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and test new web page builds, and content updates to existing pages, to verify compliance with user requirements.
- Evaluate and test for web compliant accessibility standards
- Validate that web pages conform to established guidelines.
- Write, review, revise and verify quality standards and test procedures.
- Participate in review of standards, procedures, tools and process.
- Monitor, manage, and communicate with developers, designers, or content managers on issues discovered.
- Prepare and develop test strategies and test plans.
- Assist developers in solving quality assurance issues. Work collectively to solve defects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Web QA / Black box testing – flexibility to work within, and quickly learn different and varied content management systems for Web applications.
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including strong editing, grammar, technical documentation; good listener.
- Experience with creating and working with Excel spreadsheets.
- Organizational and prioritization skills. Keep track of multiple projects and progress of others on team.
- Ability to work, as needed, both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, from a testing and verification perspective.

Salary Range: $64,000 - $77,000 (DOE)
