Job Description Summary
Maintains responsibility for each classroom and included equipment for the duration of Webster’s occupancy.
  • Setup and breakdown all computer equipment and associated equipment for all assigned WU classes Provides entry level technical support with classroom technology
Train and become proficient with webnet+ and other related equipment
Maintains custody of assigned keys. Unlock and prepares all classrooms for instruction. Locks and secures all WU assigned spaces at the end of each evening and weekend session.
Provides additional seating as necessary and reconfigures classrooms as needed. Provides courier service between classroom facility and the campus offices.

Minimum Qualifications
Customer service, computer skills, analytical and problem solving skills, adaptability and flexibility, prompt and courteous.

Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years’ experience working with computers. Proficiency in computer problem solving is highly desirable.

Physical Demands
Within the normal range of an office environment. May be required to lift, push or pull 20 lbs.

Essential Duties
Serves as a Webster University (WU} representative to instructors and external agencies during evening and weekend classes, answering simple inquiries regarding classes and classroom locations.

Posts and/or distributes instructor and student information.
Security and light check of all areas assigned to WU performed daily. Coordinate clean-up of all areas occupied by WU as necessary.
Will remain posted in a centralized location that is easy for all students and faculty to find in the event that an issue or emergency comes up.
Maintain a daily log to be filled out in its entirety each evening. Included will be any issues with equipment/personnel and authorized travel between classroom locations
