Advanced Energy Economy (AEE) is seeking an experienced marketing professional to revitalize and lead our marketing program. The ideal candidate will bring deep understanding of how to manage and promote a portfolio of brands, services and messages across our organization and sub-organizations to meet our marketing objectives, with capabilities in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing. The Marketing Manager will work in direct collaboration with the corporate sales team and in close coordination with the communications team.

Managing all day-to-day marketing activities
Maintaining effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
Monitoring and protecting brand and corporate identity
Developing marketing strategy in line with AEE and affiliatedbrands
Utilizing SEO to attract targeted contacts, drive conversion
Overseeing the marketing budget
Monitoring and reporting marketing impact
Content Creation and Campaign Management
Coordinating marketing campaigns with our Corporate Sales, Fundraising, and Communications activities
Preparing mostly digital and occasional print marketing campaigns
Creation and publication of all marketing and other content material (reports, issue briefs, etc.) in line with marketing plans
Manage content on all AEE and affiliated websites and leverage various channels (social media, websites, etc) appropriately for campaigns
Planning and execution of promotional/advertising campaigns
Management of Inbound marketing tools (HubSpot)
Manage and promote monthly webinar series
Lead Generation and Optimization
Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, while measuring results
Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing messages and campaigns
Partnerships and External Relationships
Working closely with internal/external design teams and assisting with new product/service launches
Coordinating and managing marketing partnerships for industry events (in support of Sales and Communication brand building)
Required Qualifications
2+ years directly relevant full-time work experience
Adept at prioritizing multiple activities, and competing priorities/deadlines with many stakeholders
At least 1 year experience using HubSpot or similar marketing automation tool
Knowledge of best practices in social media and content marketing
Basic knowledge of css and html and design tools such as Adobe Illustrator
Experience designing landing pages for lead generation
Flexibility, good humor, and ability to work with remote teams
Highly Desirable
Basic knowledge of the energy industry and/or government affairs
Passion for AEE’s mission of driving toward a prosperous world based on secure, clean, affordable energy
