As an adjunct faculty member, you’ll provide program instruction incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline. Course Description: DAN-453 - Ballet Technique V:
In this course, ballet technique will be studied to enhance mastery in technical and artistic expression. This course will examine pointe for women and conditioning for men, in preparation for partnering work. Partnering skills and classical ballet variations will be included for both men and women.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following:

Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

Qualifications:
Minimum: MFA/MA/MEd/Masters in Dance or other related terminal degree AND one year dance instruction.
