Cherished Companions Home Care is a mission based, non-medical home care agency that provides in home care to the elderly. Our goal is to help our clients remain independent for as long as possible while providing a quality of life that they may not be able to reach without in home assistance. As a Client Care Manager, you will be joining a small office team and a diverse team of home care professionals. We are a quickly growing, dynamic organization in our 9th year of business. We are seeking an optimistic career minded individual who enjoys giving customer support in a fast paced and at times, stressful, environment. Must be people oriented, able to multi-task, extremely organized, detail oriented and able to pull many pieces together. Experience in the medical field a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. Creativity and desire to serve others is key. Overall, we are seeking a person that has the heart of a caregiver and is willing to go the extra mile because they know that at the end of the day, what they do is changing lives.

Responsibilities and Duties

Duties will include, but are not be limited to:

  • Scheduling Personal Care Aides
  • Customer service/support
  • Administrative duties including billing
  • Quarterly site visits to clients (must be willing to drive)
  • Client/Caregiver relations
  • Matching up clients/caregivers by personality, availability, location and skill level
  • Coaching and counseling caregivers
  • Email communications
  • Phone communications
  • Confirming schedules for billing & payroll
  • On-call (handling call offs & emergency situations)

Base hours are 9-5, M-F but there is some variation based on the on-call schedule. In addition, there is a mandatory rotating on-call schedule that includes weeknights and weekends.

Candidate must have a driver license and a clear background check. You will be required to have a TB test and complete our on-line caregiver training course once hired. Additionally, we are a drug free work place.

Paid Holidays & Vacation the first year

Salary: Starting rate $15-$17/hr based on experience. Additional pay for being on call brings the salary to $35,000.00 to $39,000.00 /year to start.
