Position Overview: Automotive Tier II Digital Media Strategist is responsible for supporting our regional client accounts through digital media budget development and local market strategy, as well as ensuring the successful execution of our comprehensive digital marketing campaigns. This role requires clear professionalism to positively represent our agency, a deep understanding of the automotive space, and the ability to develop and analyze campaign performance to achieve our regional association goals. The position involves occasional (bi-monthly to quarterly) travel to meet with clients, foster relationships, and present campaign performance updates.
We are looking for candidates within the Midwest/Central area.
Key Responsibilities:
● Create multiple comprehensive digital media strategies that align with regional marketing objectives and budget.
● Oversee digital marketing campaigns across various platforms and ensure their full delivery; including social media, paid search, display, audio and programmatic video.
● Work closely with the Tier II field, account, billing and the greater digital team to support regular and ad hoc digital campaign needs.
● Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients, showcasing campaign strategies, performance, and insights.
● Travel to client meetings as needed to discuss strategies, present campaign results, and strengthen client relationships. Travel could range between day trips or overnight stays, depending on your location.
● Monitor and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Domo, platform reporting) and provide regular reports to clients.
● Coordinate with internal teams (creative, content, and technical) to ensure seamless execution of digital campaigns.
● Stay up-to-date with automotive industry trends, new digital platforms, and advertising best practices to offer innovative solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
● Eastern or Central Time Zone
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
● 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, media planning, or account management within the automotive field.
● Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEM, social media, programmatic advertising, and content marketing.
● Solid understanding of the automotive path to purchase, website UX and event tracking
● Experience understanding digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, etc.).
● Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
● Highly organized, with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
● Willingness to travel to client meetings as needed.
