POSITION SUMMARY
The person in this position is responsible for trust accounting in Appfolio, bookkeeping in Quickbooks, HR paperwork, payroll and managing accounts payable. This position reports to the owners of the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Appfolio Trust Accounting
  • Quickbooks Bookkeeping
  • Processing Owner Statements
  • Managing Accounts Payable Staff
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Payroll with ADP
  • HR Paperwork Processing
  • Compliance with company standards as defined in the Human Resources Policy Manual, Operations Playbook and applicable laws, e.g., Fair Housing, Landlord Tenant, Local Building Codes, OSHA, and EEOC

ATTENDANCE
Position requires ability to work a minimum of 16-20 hours per week, 52 weeks of the year. The schedule is flexible with the exception of accounting week which it is required to work on the 6th and 7th of the month. It is critical that individuals possess the ability to work their scheduled hours plus any other hours necessary to complete the job and must attend training classes as scheduled.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have 1-2 years of advanced Appfolio and Quickbooks experience. Our company will not provide initial training on those two programs. Advanced training will be provided.
  • A strong interest and experience in the real estate, property management or construction industry
  • Strong analytical skills and experience
  • Amazing organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to read and write English; speak English and understand spoken English
  • Proficient understanding of the accounting
