We are looking for talented individuals who have a passion for, and a genuine interest in, working within a global and fast-paced airline catering business. The operational graduate program has been designed to grow our next generation of operational leaders by giving you the practical experience needed for a leadership role within gategroup.

A successful applicant will work through a structured and challenging 18-month program, combining diverse on-the-job practical experience with a series of blended learning modules to develop and strengthen their professional knowledge and skills, putting them at the heart of our business. A dedicated coach, peer, and colleague, from all areas of our organization will help them reach an in-depth understanding of our operations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Understands all processes within the operations with all their complexity, the support functions (HR, Finance, Account Management, Compliance, etc.), and the commercial models
Learns rapidly when receiving on-the-job training and shows a hands-on approach
Understands gateOPEX, Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement while working as a Team Leader
Performs tasks required in assigned process while taking responsibility for the supervision of the team
Works on business projects to address global and regional business challenges – think creatively and be innovative
Participates in global training weeks and virtual development sessions
Engages in knowledge sharing and networking with peers, mentors, and line managers and build relationships with Senior Leaders
Supports the one gategroup vision and enable best practice sharing across different units
Pro-actively make decisions and solve complex problems
Demonstrates the ability to gather large amounts of information and to analyze data
Develops and prove leadership skills to be able to take up a Section Manager role
Navigates a large and complex business process with many stakeholders
Interacts professionally with customers and understand customers’ priorities
Deals with conflicting demands and priorities and ambiguity
Shows excellent communication skills and deal with multicultural issues and challenges
Has the ability to overcome setbacks and be resilient when faced with feedback
Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree is required
Master’s degree is preferred

Work Experience:
Two years of internship or undergraduate work experience in a B2B business
International experience is preferred
Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)

IT knowledge
Lean / Six Sigma knowledge of advantage

Language / Communication Skills:
English fluency
Additional languages are desired
