The Network Support Technician II is responsible for providing expertise in networking, server maintenance, and data backup. This non-clinical position requires skills and experience in project management and break/fix engineering. The Network Support Technician II must support the mission of providing Sacred Work to all who enter the doors of Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas.
Essential Job Duties

Manage and audit backups, wireless Ap's and controllers daily.
Confirm overall health of the 200+ servers in production and maintain functionality of Wintel based departmental systems.
Work system issues concerning infrastructure and prioritize break/fix work orders vs project related assignments.
Change ports or any other related assistance for IT desktop support team, communications, and remote access for vendors as needed for system/user changes.
Coordinate applicable Microsoft updates and reboots as applies for any given day.
Implement network and server related changes in projects and make adjustments to AD configuration (GPO, Account Security, DNS, DHCP, printing, file and date permissions, etc.).
Required Education and Experience
3-5 years of experience
