Capital Planning (capplannllc.com) has a CSA position open in Bellevue, WA.
Your job as a CSA is to enhance the client experience by servicing clients and providing operational and administrative support to a financial advisor as well as to the entire team. Your knowledge of firm policy, procedures and technology allows you to interface with clients and prospective clients, anticipate their needs, resolve their problems, and follow through to provide exceptional service. You perform administrative duties that support Financial Advisors in their daily business practices (client meetings, on-boarding new clients, marketing, etc.). You support and drive firm initiatives and maintain risk awareness and regulatory knowledge.
You are client service oriented and a team player. You are detail-oriented with proven organizational skills, able to manage time efficiently and can multi-task. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The primary focus for the CSA will be on exceptional client satisfaction with specific attention in the areas of client service, relationship management, and problem resolution with the goal of meeting and exceeding the expectations of our clients. • The CSA is a key person/liaison in servicing, educating, tracking and resolving day-to-day operational issues for our firm. The CSA will be highly engaged in all areas of support and management relative to the activities inherent to client accounts.
- Communicate with clients, verbally and in writing. • Assist financial planners with the client review process including presentation preparation, account maintenance and research, preparing financial statements and cash flow for client meetings. • Prepare client paperwork including agreements, custodian account and transfer forms. • Create client files and update as needed with current documentation such as tax returns, estate documents and meeting notes. • Deliver superior client service—troubleshoot problems, schedule and organize meetings; serve as liaison between Advisor and client as needed. • Manage client information—prepare client reports, submit and follow up on necessary paperwork, regularly update Client Relationship Management Database (CRM). • Follow detailed checklists and document information on activities to allow team members to easily see status of past work and/or work in progress. • Prepare correspondence to and from clients, including the calculations necessary for making Required Minimum Distributions (RMD's) from qualified plans and IRA accounts. • Multi-tasking, when necessary, to help leverage our professional staff's time. • Back up administrative staff as needed with answering the phones. • Maintaining Client Contact Information with Custodian. • Sending and Tracking Preliminary and Risk Tolerance Questionnaires. • Update Client Expense Worksheets.
Salary and Benefits:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services industry preferably with a financial planning and/or investment management firm. • Familiarity with portfolio management programs, client reporting applications and an understanding of databases a plus. • Goal and service oriented professional who is comfortable in a highly team-oriented environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Client first attitude and professional demeanor. • Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment. • Proficiency with MS Office (you may be tested as to your level of competency).
