We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager with a specialization in Business taxation to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our business tax compliance, tax planning, and accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Business tax law, excellent leadership skills, and a strategic mindset.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Conduct review of tax returns and workpapers, ensuring accuracy and compliance for projects you manage and/or sign.

Develop and communicate review comments, suggestions, and tax return changes to tax preparers that meet tax compliance guidelines.

Engage in tax planning activities, identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes for clients.

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering proactive solutions to address their tax concerns and achieve their financial goals.

Manage client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact and addressing client inquiries and concerns. Maintain an advisory and consultative relationship with clients.

Proactively address and anticipate client needs and advocate for firm services (including cross-selling), instilling confidence and credibility.

Learn and understand the business and industry of clients.

Interface with taxing authorities and assist in gathering information for federal, state, and local tax audits, as needed.

Expand expertise in identified specialties, including industry and tax return types. Be an internal resource for team members within identified specialty, answering questions and providing support.
What We Are Looking For

7-10 years of accounting work experience, preferably with 2 years of experience at the Manager level

Experience in public accounting, preferably working with multiple engagements simultaneously in a fast paced environment

A drive to succeed with a strong interest in providing exceptional services to our clients

A CPA license
