As a Marketing professional you will be part of a collaborative group supporting the Brand Marketing Team in driving store sales throughout our retail distribution partners to enhance Blackhawk Network’s position in the third-party prepaid card industry. This role will invlove developing and executing marketing/advertising campaigns, promotions, project management, campaign implementation, post-project assessment, producing sales and promotional tools; to attract and retain customers. This individual will need to have the skillset to seek relevant facts/statistics on industry, competitor and gift giving occasions. This position will report to the Marketing Manager/Sr. Marketing Manager.
Incumbent must have the skills and ability to perform the following essential job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation:
Assist in supporting Manager/Sr. Manager with tier 1 accounts.
Partner with manager to create, execute and measure the success of promotional campaigns including marketing plan and creative development, timelines, memos, program forecasting and budgeting and post event analysis.
Support marketing efforts for tier 2-3 CP/DP accounts.
Develop advertising and marketing materials for various gift card product categories and special projects as needed; handles legal review and approvals.
Provide marketing support to Marketing, BD and Distribution Sales teams with creating sales materials, presentations, creating and maintain Card and Distribution partner marketing calendars and updating trackers as well as other administrative assistance.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager/Sr. Manager and/or Director.
College graduate with marketing, communications and/or advertising emphasis.
2-5 yrs. marketing and merchandising experience in retail.
Creative, resourceful and solutions-oriented
2-4 yrs. experience working with retail clients, sales executives and account management.
Ability to work in an entrepreneurial atmosphere; must excel under pressure and with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated willingness to work as a member of a team and interface appropriately and effectively to accomplish departmental goals and objectives.
Must be detail oriented, and possess strong organization and time management skills.
Strong customer service skills with a client-focused orientation.
High degree of initiative and keen sense of urgency; Analytical skills needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literate with excellent skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet savvy; Background in graphics and design a plus.
