At Everyday Carry we provide an in-depth look into the pockets, professions, and lives of our community. Since 2009, we’ve been committed to helping people discover items to improve their day-to-day lives, prepare for adventure, excel in the workplace and tackle unexpected emergencies in stride.Through our website, users can share their everyday carry (EDC) essential items carried on a daily basis or for a specific task, browse others’ EDCs, and explore a database of popular, tried-and-true products used by peers for related professions and interests.
Our goal is to help you find the right tools for the job and provide a community for you to share your EDC and the story behind it.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and manage a social content calendar, ensuring that all social media platforms are updated regularly with engaging content
- QA or create, schedule, and post social media content on various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and others
- Engage with the community on multiple channels, including responding to comments, messages, and reviews
- Debrief editorial/content teams insights from community engagement and discussion
- Analyze and report on the performance and results of campaigns and tests, and make recommendations for future improvements
- Communicate with the editorial team to develop long-form content informed by social media engagement and vice versa
- Collaborate with and manage a team of contributors and assistants to create high-quality content
- Coordinate community engagement opportunities and manage user-generated content via social media
Job Requirements:
- An active participant in everyday carry and related hobbies
- A strong command of the language and trends within the scene
- Enthusiast sensibilities with a passion for fostering community and takes pride in high quality work
- Organized, creative, punctual, and communicates well
- Ability to identify up and coming trends and have a confident understanding of the space and subject matter to come up with viral bangers, fire content, and impeccable vibes as needed
- Comfortable working in a remote environment with people across time zones

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
