Join SCAD Savannah as a full-time professor of digital communication.

SCAD seeks an accomplished professional with experience in contemporary industry practices and technologies. In this role, the professor instructs students on concepts from professional identity and digital persona to effective visual communication and uses of various applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office 365, Google Drive, and other browser-based tools. In addition, the professor guides students on industry practices such as project pipeline and management through research and ideation, techniques for organizing, planning, and collaborating using both analog and digital resources. Through design and technical skills and knowledge of industry trends, the professor helps students find their creative niche and prepares them for success in creative careers.

Requirements:

Terminal degree or its equivalent in advertising, broadcast design, graphic design, motion graphics, photography, illustration, or related digital media or communication field, visual effects, or a related digital media or communication arts field
Experience working with 3D applications is preferred but not required
