Position: Terminal Customer Service Rep - Part Time
The following PT ($14.60 hourly) shift is available:
1. Mon-Fri: 2.00 PM to 8.00 PM
2. Tues-Fri: 12 Noon till 6 PM and Sat 6 AM till 12.00 Noon
The Terminal Customer Service Rep fields external customer questions, complaints and shipment tracking inquiries while demonstrating the highest degree of courtesy, integrity and professionalism to resolve customer issues via phone and email communication.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls and provide detailed information
Consistently monitor email requests and provide detailed information in a timely manner
Bill Updating (COM and NON-COM bills)
Check, fax and file PODs
Print inbound manifest/bills
Log/arrive all inbound drivers and sort bills
Notify customers of On Hand Shipments
Set up shuttles, close shuttles and do paperwork for shuttles
Work on daily reports
Provide coverage for driver check in window (releasing cargo)
Regular and dependable attendance
Other duties as assigned
Demonstrated ability to carry out assignments to their completion and meet deadlines
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and managers
Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments
Ability to perform general administrative duties; file, fax, data entry
Possess an understanding of industry documents (bill of lading, MAWB, TSA forms, etc)
High school diploma or GED equivalent

Ability to perform general administrative duties; file, perform data entry, photocopies, etc.
Ability to handle heavy work load and work well under pressure
Ideal candidate will possess a “can do” attitude with a “will do” work ethic
Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Transportation industry knowledge and experience is a plus
Computer skills, including MS Office/Excel, AS400 functions: air-bills, manifest, customer, customer service, reports, etc.
