Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and tax preparation, with proficiency in financial software and excellent numerical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals or businesses
- Review financial records, such as income statements and documentation, to determine appropriate tax deductions
- Stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for tax preparation
- Utilize accounting software to input and manage financial data
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tax Preparer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, etc.
- Excellent numerical skills including 10-key typing
- Ability to market tax services and generate sales
- Familiarity with corporate accounting practices
